Brownsville to Blake Island (July 2007)

Blake Island on a buoy, a friendly otter, more porpoises than I've seen before off Bainbridge Island, and shopping in Poulsbo: a great, long weekend. Because of contrary wind and currents, we motored most of this trip, but at every turn we were presented with postcard views of middle Puget Sound.

Five Bridges in Puget Sound (May 2007)

Passing under five bridges eight times in a week isn't something I had planned to do, but it was remarkably fun. This was to be a test trip for a possible Northwest Potters group sail to Tacoma, but my experience in Tacoma wasn't as positive as I had hoped it would be.
